We will be staying overnight for a tournament on 2/13 in the Chicago area. While it is not mandatory that you stay overnight, many players and families have done so in the past and they have felt it to be a good bonding experience. Having said that, it is completely up to you. If you would like to commute back and forth from MKE to Chicago, you are more than welcome. The tournament is two days--2/13 and 2/14 As best as I can tell at this early juncture, we will be playing on the north side of Chicago...site TBD. I have arranged for a room block at the Hawthorne Suites in Wadsworth, IL...just outside Waukegan. This hotel is where many of the 17's teams will be staying. The rate is $89 + tax. There's a pool and a warm breakfast along with many other amenities. If you would like to reserve a room, please call them at 847-596-8936 and request for the Trojan Volleyball Club room block. I have arranged for 14 rooms to be blocked off until 1/30. After that, if you were to book a room, you would get the regular rate (if there are any rooms left).
